What is a cable lug?
A copper tube terminal, also known as a cable lug or tubular cable lug, is the compression fitting that joins a power cable conductor to a busbar, switch, transformer, or circuit breaker.

TQ Copper Tube Terminals, Standard Heavy-Duty Range (10–630 mm²)
TQ terminals cover cable sizes from 10 mm² to 630 mm² with stud hole sizes from M5 to M20. An inspection window lets you confirm full conductor insertion before crimping. Barrel diameters conform to BS 6360, and each palm is marked with cable size and stud hole size for fast, error-free die selection. TQ Copper Tube Terminals are 3rd party accredited by Dekra.
T Range Copper Tube Terminals, Light-Duty Range (1.5–6 mm²)
Designed for the smaller end of the cable spectrum, the T Range covers 1.5 mm² to 6 mm² with stud hole sizes from M4 to M8, ideal for control panels, distribution boards, and secondary circuits. Same 99.5% copper construction and tin-plated finish as the heavy-duty range, supplied in packs of 50.
Copper Tube Butt Splices, Inline Joint Connectors (1.5–630 mm²)
Need to join two cable ends rather than terminate to a stud? Butt splices provide a reliable compression joint across the full cable range from 1.5 mm² to 630 mm². Manufactured to the same BS EN 61238-1:2003 Grade A standard as the terminal range.
Transformer Fixing Copper Tube Terminals, Dual-Hole Palm (120–630 mm²)
Where standard single-stud termination won't fit, transformer fixing terminals provide a four-fixing-hole palm (4 × 8 mm or 4 × 10 mm) for secure connection to transformer and switchgear busbar pads. Available in cable sizes from 120 mm² to 630 mm², supplied in packs of 2 for large-cable installations.
Reduced Palm Copper Tube Terminals, For LV Circuit Breakers (10–300 mm²)
Working with reduced-space terminal blocks on LV circuit breakers? The reduced palm design allows for immediate, easier installation where standard palm widths won't clear adjacent busbars or enclosure walls. Covers 10 mm² to 300 mm² with stud holes from M5 to M16.
